Shaon do you have any update for my issue? I am getting huge of negative feedback from my customers. They are not able to download at all files… Please respond asap.

Hello Shaon, thank you for your help!
1.It’s not possible to be guest in order to download. That means that a person has to sign in with it’s username in order to watch and after download the files. I don’t know how this happens…
2.I have just created a user as a member and I was able to download 5 files (3 is the limit). There is a trick to activate the download-limi.txt and that happens when you try to download the same files 2 times. If you do that you will receive the text limit and you will not be able to download more. I am usign the Google + as a sharing method to download the file, maybe that will help.

Hello again, thank you for your efforts Shaon but there is not progress after all… I should update your about my problem
First of all I have set the daily downloads to 3 but I get issues…
1. I have several complains from users that they get download-limit.txt when they are trying to download for first time after days of not downloading nothing at all. So they get limitation with no reason. I have checked their download history in the Package vs User and indeed they haven’t downloaded anything in weeks.
2. The second and Major issue for my sites security is that I still have users whom can download more than 3 files per day… Especially one user today have downloaded 20 or more of my precious video files. I really have to stop that because I am losing money when someone pays for one month and download hundreds of files when the limitation is 3 per day…

I am willing to pay you in order to fix this problem asap. I have had that problem and it drives me crazy..

Hey there, thank you very much for your precious help! I’ve just tried and see if your fix is working and I am facing a strange thing…

When I get connected with Google Chrome I get the limit working fine. But when I am connected with the Apple Safari there is no limitation at all. I’ve downloaded 10 files when the daily limit is 3.

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Replying again, my admin account was reseted and I was able to download again and I did 10 downloads (limit is 2) with not a limitation txt popping on at all. Please check my issue and please try to download my own downloads from my own posts where the problem persists. If you need a new account I can give you one right away.

Well I have again some new info, i tried to download some files with my admin account (havent download any files today) using Chrome, and I got the daily download limit txt file.
Then I logged in with another dummy account (not admin) using Safari, and I have full access to the downloads with no limitation. I mean I am going to every post and I download every download with no limitations.

My global limitation is set to 2 everyday but I’ve just downloaded 4 with no problem.

Please help me because my clients are starting to complain, they face the same problems, some are free to download everything and some are getting the download limit text right away.

Please try to download the download of this posts once you log-in to the site

Shaon I don’t know where did you check, but I just tried and got the download limit from the first download, please do not try to download the same file but please try to download several downloads from other posts/tutorials.
