What do you mean by “copy /src/__/Session.php”?
I will check with my host again to see if they can determine anything on their end.
I am using 6.0.6 already.
Accidentally submitted this info twice. See https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/wpdm-session-may-not-work-properly/
Yes, I know I can do that. My question was if there is a way to this without having to change the core files?
Yes, this is the only line that is commented out in the new version of class.CronJobs.php. This is what my current files shows and is giving me the result that the wpdm-cache and pdfthumbs folder are both deleted immediately after I navigate away from the folder.
`FileSystem::deleteFiles(WPDM_CACHE_DIR, false, ‘.zip’);
FileSystem::deleteFiles(WPDM_CACHE_DIR, false, array(‘filetime’ ► time() – 3600, ‘ext’ ► ‘.txt’));
//FileSystem::deleteFiles(WPDM_CACHE_DIR . ‘pdfthumbs/’, false);
That line is already commented out.
Please answer my question asked:
Should I have a visible wpdm-cache folder with pdfthumbs folder inside? Every time I create the folder in my wp-content/uploads and navigate away from it, it disappears.
I’ve updated to the latest WPDM 5.30 and PDF Viewer 2.0.0.

I see that the class.CronJobs.php file (discussed in previous conversation) seems to have been updated in one of the recent updates.
Hi Shahjada, our host says our site can handle the downloads, so I will not be using AS3 after all. (Just a side note, very glad to see you in support!)
When I click the “check for updates” in my WPDM settings/updates it only shows the option for 2.8.2. My subscription is active.
The files also are not generating previews with WPDM PDF Preview.
AmazonS3 2.8.2
Yes, I marked it resolved.
Please disregard … child theme had its own viewer.php file.
It’s been nearly 2 weeks since your last response. Can I please have an update on this problem of deleting the files in my pdfthumb cache?
Any updates on this problem?
Still waiting to hear if this is a bug or if I need to hire something out.
Same problem here and STILL no response to my other question I’ve been posting and updating for a week now: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/pages-with-many-downloads-crashing/#post-135788
Would really appreciate an answer to this question. Each day, I have to go to ALL of my download pages in order to cache the images myself to avoid users from getting 504 errors. PLEASE tell me why this directory keeps emptying itself OR AT LEAST respond that you know there is a bug and are working on it.
