I just need an answer to this question, without further time to waste: is this addon supposed to redirect users to my OneDrive account or that’s a problem of my intallation? If the answer is “it shows the account” then I will uninstall it because I think that linking to the file repository is something that should happen in the backend and not be visible to users.

I’m attaching a screencast… you can see that pulling files from Onedrive is not possible. I have set correctly my app, both from Onedrive account and from WPDM settings. Also, as you can see in the video, grabbing the file with “browse” is all right, but dropping the file into the box is not always working.

I have waited a couple of weeks but I can see that support is hiding. This issue is not resolved, and you are pretending that it is.
Please advice once for all on why this addon is:
– (backend) not pulling files from my account
– (backend) not adding files by browse or upload
– (frontend) redirecting the users to login to my account

Still not been able to use this plugin so far, and it’s impacting negatively my website!

Thank you for the clarification. But I’m disappointed. I really don’t understand why you link users to a OneDrive account. I mean, they just need to download a file without the need to know where the file is hosted. As a matter of fact this leads to security issues because the Admin’s OneDrive account can be hacked. On the other hand, why users should have a OneDrive account?
This addon is completely illogical. I’m sorry to say that but you should revise it completely. ๐Ÿ™‚

I thank you for the solution. Now the button hooks to OneDrive and I can associate a file to a new post/download.
There’s only one problem: when a user clicks on the download link he’s redirected to OneDrive account. Is this how’s supposed to be? Because I think that the user should just get the file instead of going to the Admin’s OneDrive account.

Yes I can see. Therefore I suggest you specify on your shortcode list page, the difference from
[wpdm-all-packages]
and
[wpdm-all-packages items_per_page="20" categories="agenda-volo" jstable=1 order_by="title" order="ASC"]
as they give different layout.

Yet, I get an error when opening the page.
DataTables warning: table id=wpdmmydls-1b4527211ee2dd2b39372a38164047ba – Cannot reinitialise DataTable. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/

I’m resurrecting this post because things have not changed with the new version. I give up on the category shortcode.
So I want to try the package-all shortcode. In the WordPress description you have a table with search. But in my site there’s still the old version.
How’s that?

I think we are talking a different issue. I just want to achieve what you see in the screenshot, and the shortcode is not doing it.

What I see doesn’t look much like what you see, does it?

Category-shortcode is always empty. I tried with id, slug, name… it just shows empty!

Even adding the tynymce addon, the problems are persisting: category-shortcode is empty, and most of the templates generated by the addon are just showing “link-template-panel”

Can’t these shortcodes be added manually without installing the tynymce plugin?
