Thank you for the very quick response and more importantly, the fix! Great service on this. Thank you.

in reply to: Bug – delete custom form error #61117

When I updated the Advanced Custom Fields add-on it:

1. Firstly when clicking the update button it deleted the add-on entirely from my system (but I got a success message)
2. The Advanced Custom Field add-on then appeared with the +install button. I clicked it and got a success message but it was not added to the menu
3. Despite the success message the add-on now is still not active and is prompting me to click +install

So basically the add-on update is not working at all.

I’ll have to speak to my developer – its a bit complicated as I’m on AWS and you would need security certificates/keys as I understand.

in reply to: Where is the LinkedIn user information? #60680

OK. At this stage there is no point using any Social Locks until this is released as my customers (those who make downloads available) on my website do so as part of lead generation activity so not capturing any information about the user is pointless. I would imagine many other people in the same situation. Please let me know when it is released?

Hi guys, just following this up. This really is missing what I believe to be core functionality. Both your setting>subscribers and settings>stats should include these columns with at least the Category and Author Fields included.

The ability for users to understand what category is the most popular or which Author has had the most downloads shouldn’t require custom work!!!

If you can’t include it as core functionality at the bare minimum it should be an additional Add-on. I would happily purchase it and I suspect many of your other users would as well. And obviously if it is being captured then that information should also be available to MailChimp Add-on as again it will enable users to customise automated marketing to customers depending on what package was downloaded.

For example if you know a user downloaded something from a particular user you could then follow up with an email to them offering further books by that author.

I hope you see the logic and do the right thing as otherwise this whole Plugin is pretty much useless for me ๐Ÿ™

in reply to: Facebook Like display issue #60676

Let me a bit clearer, it IS working in that a ‘like’ option is appearing like I had originally attached and also the example you had attached. If I use your image as an example though, how is the user supposed to know what page they are liking? There is NO information about the page which means no one will like a page they don’t know!

As an example for you, I use another Plugin to encourage likes of my page. The image attached is what pops up for users – as you will see it includes the critical information about the Facebook Page (and even allows a custom message at the top).

Compare this to the one that appears from your plugin – now see the problem? It is pointless using a Facebook Like unlock option when the user doesn’t know what page they are expected to like!

oK Great, thanks. It seems to me that the one omission (which I’ve logged separately) that’s really preventing your Plugin in from being complete is the lack of other fields in relation to what’s being downloaded. The Package Name is obviously important and the most critical component but each package is attached to a category etc and that should be included in the download information so users can see the most popular category etc.

in reply to: Unable to delete Advanced Custom Field #60674

OK Thanks

in reply to: Subscriber Information #60673

OK thanks

in reply to: Twitter unlock not working #60671

That box is already ticked…

I’m not sure if you have also updated something but I no longer get the http error but now just get a blank screen as per attached.

in reply to: Subscriber Information #60600

You have a bug that doesn’t enable you to delete a form. Keep getting an error ‘Error: No field created yet’. Also when you are editing a package that has previously used a form there is no way to un-selected a form.

I set up one for testing on a package and now seem unable to remove the form from the email lock and I can’t delete the form either.

in reply to: Loggedin User details #60599

The same applies for Categories where I can select the roles who can have access to the packages. I understand I can restrict for example access to only ‘Subscriber’ level but again where/how do I track what they have downloaded?

in reply to: Can't select Custom Fields #60597

Thank you, this is now resolved.

in reply to: Download link not working #60596

Surely this a feature that should be available to all of your users? I’d be happy to pay for something if I am the one to exclusively benefit from it but this should be available to all users!

You already have the structure built in with Author, Category and Tag fields for each package. So it is only logical that when someone downloads a file (the whole point of the plugin) that you capture that information as well!

When do you expect this to be available?

Thanks for your reply. I would have thought passing through information about what package was downloaded should be part of your basic functionality?

Please advise how many hours you would like to charge me for this customisation work. I understand I would also need to purchase the MailChimp AddOn as well. Thanks, Justin

in reply to: Help with LinkedIn lock #60516

OK this can be resolved. Weird, but we deleted the previous Application and created a new one with no differences but this time it worked.

in reply to: Download link not working #60497

Thanks, I have installed the Advanced Custom Fields. Can you provide links to where the support documentation is? I need to understand how to capture the category, tags, author for when someone downloads using email lock. I don’t want the user to have to enter these fields, I just want them to show on the Subscriber Downloads page.

Once I’ve got that sorted I will purchase the MailChimp Add on. I might be able to find a way to just subscribe them to a seperate list altogether but if I did want to send extra fields to Mailchimp as you suggested do you offer that customisation work or do I need an external 3rd party? Thanks.
