I found my issue. I used toolkit Uncanny Pro to update user groups for users in Learndash.
This plugin overwrites the wp_role when no role is present in the csv file.

So my users literately had a blank role.

It took me two days to find this out. Maybe it will help someone someday.
Check the wp_role of the user to make sure it really has the role you think it has.

Yes, the last version breaks the display of files. All our downloads are now either not visible or not downloadable.
Please fix!

This new option, Basic, Accessibly setting:

“When user is not allowed to download:”
– Only block downloads
– Hide everything

Is bugged.

It also does not show “updated” when pressed as the other “Update All” buttons do.
