Hi, I am still having an issue with Stats not being correct which is causing an issue for my client as they need these stats to measure trends and also the member who is downloading what as this helps when working on client projects. For example I can see that Judi Samuels has downloaded at least 5 since we reset the limit as it says 5/60, however when I filter the downloads with her name none are showing.

Can this be looked into further as it isn’t working correctly?

I can only see 6.5.8 in the download section which seems to be the one I have on the website?

Hi Tahasin,

Thank you for your reply, we will increase the limit as suggested.

Another ongoing issue that we seem to be having is that the Stats do not seem to be pulling through all downloads.

For example –
Kathryn Feeley contacted us as she had reached her limit, which we reset for her, however if I search for her as a user in the Downlaod Hostory section, it only shows 1 download (rather than 20) what would the reason for this be?

Hi Tahasin,

If a user has 2 roles, i.e Subscriber and Annual membership Subscription is there a way to reset on a daily basis? Or is it a case that we would need to up the limit for Annual and reset if they go over?

What we don’t want to happen is that someone downloads everything on the site and then cancel their subscription.

The user has tried from Chrome and Edge and neither were recorded in the stats.

Hi Nayeem,

It is working logging in with the clients user but is not working when the client does it. Even if it is there browser what could be preventing it from being recorded?

How does the stats get recorded? What could stop it?

As there are multiple users that are not being recorded what could cause this?

If it was just user it would be OK but as this looks like it is quite a few members and the stats are important to see trends and also to ensure that downloads aren’t abused, it is really important that this is solved. So it would be good to know what external factors could stop the stats from being recorded and if anything can be done about it.

Thank you Nayeem but the main problem is the Stats and it isn’t just the one client but many and is the most urgent issue.

Hi, is there a way to change the package settings as a whole as there are over 500 packages?

For stats, I can’t say what can be the browser effect, because, you are also talking about browser extensions. please check further and let me know. – for thisI’m just wondering what could effect the stats as with the same user the stats aren’t coming through so it can’t be the user or the settings so I’m trying to understand what would stop the stats from being recorded – how does it work / what could stop them from being recorded?

Hi,

I spoke to my client as her downloads were also not being recorded.

I reset her password and tried and could see the downloads in the stats, but then asked her to reset her password and try and again there not showing. Coudl something (chrome extension etc) be blocking it?

I also turned notifications on and I am not getting an email through.

When I Click View details on the WPDM- Download Notification it says Plugin not found. do I need to reinstall it?

Hi Nayeem,

Thank you for checking. All downloads require a membership – so anyone who is downloading will need to have logged in.

While when I checked it seemed to work, there does seem to be a problem (as stated in my clients email)

Could you advise how to troubleshoot this further?

Hi that seems to have worked thank you. But may be something for the developers to look at as the price within the package was showing in pounds so it looked like all the settings were correct.

Hi I haven’t heard anything back about the payment issue or the issue with the coupons please can you update?

Adding a bit more to this in case it helps.

If a coupon code is added the payment is correctly being pulled into PayPal in GBP.

But a couple of things with the coupon codes – I have tried to auto-apply the coupon code but this is not working
I created a coupon code which is for 5% but when you add the code the notice is saying – Congrats! 2.00 % discount will be applied.
New Price: £273.42 / Year
rather than 5%

Just to update you on this we have been told by PayPal that Paypal is correctly set to GBP and have said that it is a problem with the plugin.
