Yes, but the font is super tiny now and if you go to pages 4 or 5 the next button still gets cut off on the right side and is even worse on larger archive directories. In addition, these css settings that we have applied make our main blog’s pagination look very bad.
The issue seems to be with how WPDM does the pagination. Here is a screenshot of your WPDM demo site, which shows the pagination going well beyond the layout of your mobile site: https://pasteboard.co/JgyOd5m.jpg
Can you guys change the way the pagination is displayed, so it all fits on a mobile site’s layout without requiring us to use super tiny fonts?
Perhaps you guys could can at a minimum replace “previous” and “next” with arrows instead, which could help some (<– and –>) which is how you have things set up on this support forum’s pagination. I also noticed that the pagination on this support forum wraps around to two lines when it gets too long, which can also help to address the issue.
Please advise.
Thanks
Changing the font helped some for getting things to fit onto page 2, but the font is now super small (hard to see) and it is still a problem on pages 4 and 5. This is what is shown in pagination as I progress through the pages:
Page 1: 1 2 … 7 8 Next
Page 2: Previous 1 2 3 … 7 8 Next
Page 3: Previous 1 2 3 4 … 7 8 Next
Page 4: Previous 1 2 3 4 5 … 7 8 Next
Page 5: Previous 1 2 … 4 5 6 7 8 Next
Page 6: Previous 1 2 … 5 6 7 8 Next
Page 7: Previous 1 2 … 6 7 8 Next
Page 8: Previous 1 2 … 7 8
As you can see above, it progressively gets wider and wider as I move through pages 3, 4 and 5 (more page numbers are displayed in the pagination), so changing the font size is not going to be enough to fully resolve the issue.
Please note that I also tried looking at a different page that shows “all packages” and it gets even worse, since it shows “…” twice in the pagination. This is how page 5 of a 17 page archive directory looks:
Page 5: Previous 1 2 … 4 5 6 … 16 17 Next
Please advise if there is a way to shorten the length of how many page numbers are displayed in the pagination or if you have any other ideas on how to resolve this (without needing to reduce font size).
Thanks
Thanks. I just made those changes. Everything fits when looking at page 1 of the pagination, but when you go to page 2, the “Next” button is still getting cut off in mobile view. Please advise.
For item #1, is there somewhere that I can update the settings so that it only sends me one email message instead of two? Also, is it possible to change the email address that the notices are being sent to?
For item #2, were you able to look into changing the paypal integration, such that there is no shipping address on the PayPal side?
Thanks
Hello. I have a follow up question relating to this.
It seems that the inclusion/exclusion of tags in the category shortcode only works when using this shortcode:
[wpdm_category id=”category name”…
However, I would like to be able to include/exclude by tag when using this shortcode:
[wpdm-archive category=”category name”…
Please advise on how I can include or exclude by tags when using “wpdm-archive category” (instead of “wpdm_category id”)
Thanks.
Hi Nayeem. We would not need a special Buy Now option for every single package. We would only need the ability to have a special Buy Now option for certain products only.
Hello, I am just following up on this pending ticket. Please advise.
Hi. I am just following up on this, since it’s been a few days and I haven’t received a reply. Thanks.
Thank you. I have resolved issue #3 by hiding the CSS code, so now the remaining items are issues: 1, 4, 5, and 6.
I look forward to your reply.
Hi Nayeem,
Please clear your browser cache first and try logging in as admin again. That should resolve the issue.
If for some reason it still shows that you are logged in under a basic user, then click the logout link under the basic user and then you should be able to access the admin panel.
Thanks
OK. I figured out the problem for item #2. For some reason one of the recent updates has caused many of my packages to lose the attached file (under attached files, it has a little triangle that says “File Not Found”). My test order was using one of these packages that has a missing attached file. I will open a separate ticket to address that issue. Please let me know about the remaining items (1, 3, 4, 5, and 6).
Thanks
Hello. I am just following up on this request, since I haven’t received a response. I would at least like to get the first two big issues resolved as soon as possible. Please advise. Thanks.
Hi Borhan. That’s perfect. Thanks so much for providing such helpful support!
Thanks. I tested that same test package with an actual ebook PDF attachment and it worked great!
The only issue I am running into is that there is no option to have it exclude the first page from being stamped. Our ebooks have a book cover on the first page that should not be stamped, but all of the other pages should be stamped. Is there a way to set it up so that it excludes the first page? Thanks again!
