I’ve had Pro version for two years, but let it lapse because Paypal payments were NEVER working.
Purchases are always showing up as “Completing Order”, even if the payment goes through. The customers are charged but never get their orders, and the payment page is stuck on the Cart.

I don’t know why it’s doing this, and I’ve submitted inquiries on this before with no response. So we had to let our subscription for Pro lapse. I’d like to get this to work!

Issue is this was working for me until a couple of weeks ago. I have no issue with purchases going through but people can’t find their way to their download once the payment goes through since they get redirected to the wrong page. I’m not sure what’s going on.

I think in general, the whole Paypal payment process doesn’t work with WP Download Manager, and I’m now looking for a new plugin that actually works. This is after paying for support for 2 years!

It definitely seems like it. It seems to be hit and miss. At this point I just want to know what the issue is and if I should wait for a fix or not…

Hello,

I’m still having trouble with this. The paypal payment completes and works well. The paypal return URL is still not right and can’t seem to change at all no matter what. This would still be ok if the email sent to the customer had the right URL for their download but that is also incorrect and is something like ?udb_page=purchases/order/wpdmpp5E51A086392CB/

Can someone from the WPDM team shed some light on this?

The problem was that I had some plain text before the [wpdm_user_dashboard] shortcode. The email link works now. The return URL is always the user dash board regardless of the input URL.

I think I’m having the same problem – can someone help?

I use WordPress Download Manager and Premium Packages Plugin. When someone pays with PayPal, it goes to PayPal, takes payment fine, but when it returns to my website, the green bar stays stuck on “Completing Order” and it never actually lets the customer download his package. I notice that the Order Status and Payment is stuck on Processing – and it never completes. I am using PayPal Smart Button and have copied my live Client ID and Secret into the PayPal configuration on Premium Packages plugin. Please help.

This is the free version, not pro. I want to make sure this works before I buy Pro.

Hi @Roham,

You can put your WPDM Paypal Return URL form Downloads > Premium Package > Payment > Paypal > Return URL. please put the return URL as you assigned on the purchases page. please check and let me know.
