WPDM Paypal Return URL

Hi guys,

I’ve recently updated my wordpress site with an SSL plugin. I’m not sure if this cause an issue but I now paypal purchases redirect to my cart page:

site.com/cart/?udb_page=purchases/order/wpdmOrderID/

I’ve tried setting the return URL to various values including the home page with no success. Can you please advise on what could be wrong?

I also see that every license key created is now required to have an order ID associated with it otherwise the JSON response contains this error:

{“download_url”:””,”error”:”ORDER_ISSUE”,”status”:”INVALID”}

Is this the default behaviour moving forward?

Thanks for looking into the issue. Paypal works fine and I’m able to make payments but once the checkout process is finished, the correct paypal return URL I have specified doesn’t load. I get redirected to the Cart page.

I also can’t seem to be able to use a newly license from my dashboard for testing purposes any more unless I attach an order ID to it. Before I was able to validate manually created licenses.

I think the return URL in the settings page of the actual paypal account overrides whatever URL is entered in the WPDM settings.
