WPDM – Gutenberg Blocks Critical Error

The WPDM – Gutenberg Blocks “Category” block returns a “critical error” when I select a category to use on the block. All other block options appear to work, and shortcodes are working. Previous to this, there was an apparent conflict between Download Manager and “Qubely Block,” a third-party extension for Gutenberg blocks, The Qubely folks appear to have corrected their block via a new update.

Have you been aware of any issues with WPDM – Gutenberg Blocks returning a critical error?

I am also having this issue. Since your latest update of the software, the pages on my website that contained the category block don’t work and it says “there has been a critical error”.

As a temporary workaround I have had to create a new page using the “packages” block.

Please can you fix this error so that I can revert to using the “category” gutenberg block?

From one day to another I having the same issue I think.
Error message on pages with existing categories block:

It not even possible to access the backend page using the block editor. Only classic editor works to remove the code.

Adding a new categories block gives the error “Error loading block: The response is not a valid JSON response.” after choosing a category.
