WPDM – Form Lock – #locked after email

System: WordPress 5.2, WP Engine
Plugins: Free Download Manager, Up-to-date WPDM – Form lock plugin
Gravity Forms – Download manager setup in 2017 and has worked correctly since that point.

Note: Downloads work without email lock

Issue:
user enters email and checks opt in and hits enter
System provides download button but URL has /#locked at the end

I’ve turned off all plugins in test site and issue remains.

please advise.

I am also getting #locked after purchasing the Form Lock plugin and installing it… it shows up after completing a form in the download link. why is this the case? how do I change it? This is very frustrating!
