WPDM and Media Libary integration

I’ve been trying to work out how best to manage file links in our posts. Right now we have to get the direct link form the package list then go over to add a text link in the blog posts. I did notice an additional menu item in the Media Libarary with the ‘Coming soon..’ text See this Media Library Screenshot.
Can you advise on what this new addition will be – I assume it’s to allow for access to WPDM files directly in the Media Library. This would be a great addition!

Forgot to mention – we use the Classic Editor not Gutenburg.
