Version 2.8.9 Black border through all pages

As of today I noticed a black border through all pages on my site with the words “Download File” in white font. I deactivated this plugin and the border went away. Has anyone else seen this behavior and how to resolve please?

Attached is a screen shot of this behavior. Again, when I deactivate the plug in this bar disappears.

However I just checked your screenshot, are you using any plugin which is using media element js? Any such plugin may cause the issue, as it auto convert audio tags.

This is a conflict with Widgetkit plugins. After deactivating it the black border is gone.

Thank you. Unfortunately, too much of the site has been built using Widgetkit to leave it deactivated. The problem is new and I do not recall a recent Widgetkit update. I do see by deactivating the bar goes away. If this is the conflict, in my case, it is much simpler to replace the downloader. I am sorry for this outcome.
