Hello, I would like to request a change to the WordPress PDF Viewer to use a different URL parameter, as the current __wpdm_pdf_viewer is removed from requests to Pantheon due to the double underscore prefix.

I work at Pantheon, and we had a customer bring this to our attention today. Happy to help if I can! I reviewed the plugin code and it seems like this would be a quick change.

Hello @tanvirw3eden thank you for your reply. Did your team have a chance to review this?
Thanks,

Hello,
Our developer team will review the issue and take it effective in future updates.
Thanks
Hello @jms,
We have rechecked the issue.
Actually we have multiple plugins using __ prefixes.
Only WPDM plugin alone is using 1200++ lines of codes with __ prefixes.
Already different users of Pantheon are coming to our forum with different related serious issues.
But it is impossible for us to update all the prefixes because of the issue of Pantheon.
I would suggest you to take necessary steps to make an exception for wpdm and all the addons of wpdm. It will be very helpful for the WPDM customers of Pantheon.
Thanks
Hello @tanvirw3eden
Thank you for checking into this further. Are all of those __ prefixes used as URL parameters? Unfortunately we will not be able to make a change to the platform, if you let me know the affected plugins I can list them as having known issues with the platform.
Kind Regards,

Hello,
Some internal functions create __ prefix in urls, which may cause issue.
For example, the wpdm plugin uses certain functions.
Check out this topic to see how the function is causing issues with different functionality.
Unfortunately, almost all of our addons are using __ prefix like this.
Thanks
