Updated WP and DM and lost everything!

I have several sites where I use DM and ran all the usual updates and now everything has vanished – all my links are dead text. DM (new look) has NO downloads or information – WTF? this is a disaster!

Same happened to me, until I went to the Dashboard and there was a big welcome post and migration link that restored my download files. I have to update the shortcode in my download directory page(s) but at least that works now.

Try going to your WP admin dashboard and see if you see that Welcome with info page? It included a link to restore the old version, as well.

I did lose a LOT of site stuff, however. My text widgets in various pages have completely been wiped out. Am trying to restore from backup. Not sure if related, but this was the only update today besides WordPress to 4.0.1

Can you migrate Download managers files or are you running them side by side?

@MartinR, Here is http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/download-manager-moving-to-custom-post-type/ the v2.7 details. You only need to migrate data, but old file short-code still woill work fine for already created files. Category short-code need to be changed. With v2.7 you can use all adds, here are some free add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/free-add-ons/ , but still if you want you can get back to v2.6 from here https://wordpress.org/plugins/download-manager/developers/
