Hello,

When I try to add the “Package” block I get an error message “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.” and the page crashes.

It happens for all the other WPDM blocks and does not happen for any other non-WPDM blocks.

I get the same error in Firefox and Chrome

Download Manager Version 2.9.97
Gutenberg Version 5.2.2

According to the regular WordPress Plugin Dahsboard: WPDM – Gutenberg Blocks Version 1.2.2
According to the WPDM addon page (/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wpdmpro&page=wpdm-addons) Version 1.0.5

Firefox 67.0.4
Chrome Version 75.0.3770.100

I have uninstalled and reinstalled WPDM – Gutenberg Blocks using the regular WP plugin dashboard and the plugin store, as well as removing it and manually uploading the zip file of the plugin with no change in the error. Even when I upload with the zip file, it says that it is version 1.2.2. I think there may be an error in version number where it says 1.05 since when I go into the zip’s readme it clearly says it is version 1.2.2.

Hi there, Mind to share me the Admin login in a private reply so that I can have a look inside and inspect the issue?

Hi, Please remove this line from your .htaccess (from cpanel)

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php56 .php

After deleting cache try using php version 5.6, that will solve your issue.

Hello!

I haven’t heard anything from you in about a week. Was wondering if you were still working on a solution.

Please let me know if I can do anything.

Thanks!

Hi B,
Could you please share your cpanel /file manager info with me? I want to see the WordPress files from inside. None of other WordPress installation dom-react.js is not conflicting with WPDM-Gutenberg block! but in your installation that is conflicting.
Looking forward to hear from you!
Cheers

I know about File Manager, But that doesn’t help always!
Anyway, its an issue with core vs Gutenberg components, and a very unique type of issue!
Need your kind patience!
