Set default access rule for downloads

Hi there,

is it possible in the free version to set the default access rule? We would like to have the default behaviour that only registerd user(groups) may have access to the downloads.

In addition to that: not only the download file itself: even the html/php should be secured while using the download manager. We use wp-member as a plugin for setting up groups and users.

Or ist the default access setting only available in the pro version?

just one feature request for all versions of the download manager: due to security reasons (security by default) it would be good if the default value for the access rights to a new document would be “none”. I think most people who use the downloads manager have in mind to restrict the access to a document.

If now an editor forgets explicitly to restrict the access rights, it may be a security problem if suddenly the documents will appear without any restriction or they may appear in the google index.

Just as a suggestion for further versions.
