I only want to include a download button so it is possible to remove the hyperlink on the title that goes to a comments type screen? I don’t want users to be able to comment or anything like that.

I just want this to be a download list, they don’t need any more information or the ability to leave comments etc.

You can disable a single download page link from the link template. You need to replace [page_link] with [title] from the related link template. For editing link templates, you can also follow this doc to backup your file,

Don’t worry – I’ve created them in my file. Could you please tell me which file displays the button? It disappears for logged out users so they can’t download but I’d like to keep it there and change the text “Log in to download” and remove the link.

Great, but the login button there is taking me to a 404 page – can I hide that button as login is in the main menu?

I haven’t as I already have a custom login page – I’ve hidden your button with css though now so that’s fixed the issue. Thank you Nayeem.
