Every time I hit “Publish” I get a 500 Error. I have updated all of my plugins.

To check the server log, follow these steps:
Access the error log inside your hosting control panel. Please log in to your hosting control panel.
If you are using cPanel, navigate to the ‘File Manager’ and look for the file named ‘error_log.'”
Please, Change the active theme temporarily and see if the issue still persists.

Sorry for the inconvenience, i have checked the issue, After deactivating the WordPress Download Manager (WPDM) and attempting to ‘Add New Post’ I encountered the same error[the issue persists]. It appears that the issue is not directly related to WPDM; rather, there may be another factor contributing to the error.
As soon as I received your update I went to the site and published a new post with no problem whatsoever.
I will do that and get back to you tomorrow.
I have installed security and removed any malicious code. I still cannot Publish with Download Manager.
I’ve also noticed that when I go to attach a file, it now adds a number sequence to the beginning of the file name. Example: 1709651034wpdm_
What plugin do you recommend for a good cleaner? The last one I tried locked up the site.
I understand you’re busy, but it has been 5 days since I wrote the post above and three weeks since I opened this support ticket.
