Hello,

We are testing the free version of the plugin before buying the pro version here: https://arekson.com/test/ why does the first PDF open a window to download the file, and the second PDF directly opens in the brower the file? We don’t know why the configuration is different.

We can give you login details in a private reply if you need them to check the problem.

Hello,
Hope you are well.
For the first download, I found that clicking download shows the message, “Direct access disabled”. Not sure what did you do for that download package.
However, Please provide temporary admin access in a private reply to check the issue further.

Please always use the below section to upload files to avoid any unwanted situations.

If you upload using this, wpdm can handle the upload and you will get secured download link.

Understood, then, what is the purporse of the gray button below that which says “seleccionar desde la biblioteca de medios” ?

I have another question. I have used in that page this shortcode: [wpdm_all_packages jstable=1 items_per_page=20] Is it possible to show in a page just one of the categories instead of all the categories together? What should the shortcode be?

And the search field, does it search only in the current category you are showing?

Hello Marta,

Hope you are well.

Adding media files are better for images or videos. That is the default wordpress uploader. It is always better to use the upload system of wpdm. In that case, wpdm can affect some features of the uploaded file. That fixes many issues.

Yes with that shortcode you can add any category you want. For that you have to use the parameter categories in that category slug.

Example:
[wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="20" categories="slug1,slug2,..." jstable=1 order_by="field_name" order="ASC/DESC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]

And yes search field, search only in the current category you are showing.
