I’m evaluating the free version.
Is it possible to have a preview jpg image of the download? How to do this?
For example what I want to do is provide a 7z file to be downloaded and an associated jpg file to preview.
24 hours and my simple question about your product is not answered.
Is this the quality of the support I should expect?
If anyone can recommend any other WP download plugin, please do.

From Downloads> Add new> Set featured image you can add a preview image of your download file.

Related to this, why does the plugin automatically render a preview for video files, but does not automatically render a preview image for each image? It makes sense to need the feature image for file-types that may not be readable by WordPress core, but as JPG/PNG and such are, why is this not done automatically (or is there a setting that does?)
Do any of the paid versions feature this automatic thumbnail generation?
