I updated the plugin from version 3.2.43 to the current version and I am having problems uploading files using a url. It doesn’t give any error, only when you click on the publish button the file url disappears and the following message appears in red — NO FILES UPLOADED YET! — I checked the plugin configuration and I can’t find anything that refers to this type of links.
Hello,
I hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Could you kindly share the exact process you used to upload files via URL? Also, share related URL in a private reply.
Regards
We are checking the issue. You will be updated shortly.
Thanks for your patience.
Hi Tahasin, Do you have any news about it?
Hello, Lorena
Extremely sorry for the delay.
URL download is working fine from our end, could you please try using this link https://examplefile.com/file-download/36 and let me know if this working or not.
Hello Tahasin, sorry for the delay in responding, the url worked correctly. In your environment, does the url that I gave you work correctly? Because it still doesn’t work in ours, could you guide me where to look for the problem, does it have to do with some rule or restriction on the server that didn’t affect it before and after the updates give the error?
Unfortunately, the URL you provided isn’t functioning correctly in our environment. It’s returning this error, which suggests there might be an issue with the link.
To investigate the problem further, could you please share your wp-login credentials in a private reply?
Regards
Could you tell me where I can see a log of the plugin to verify if uploading the url generates an error?

To view the plugin’s log, please follow these steps:
– Access the error logs via the cPanel Error Log file.
– Enable debugging mode in your config.php file by adding the following code: define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
– Alternatively, you can install an error log plugin, such as Error Log Monitor.
The URL is working fine in v3.2.98(up-to-date version). Kindly share wp-login credentials in a private reply to check the issue from your end.
Please share the wp-login credentials to check the issue thoroughly.
checking the issue, will give you an update shortly.
If you allow me, I would like to try deactivating all plugins and switching to a different theme.
