Order/Purchase Doesn't Generate DL License

I tried to test the download process and believe I’ve set up everything correctly on the back end. However, after a successful purchase, the customer’s order/invoice doesn’t have the “generate license” key as indicated on this website. When I go into Licenses in the admin area, to try to add a license, it asks for Product ID* – as far as I know, I don’t have a product ID, except for the one product in my digital download files – It Works Weight Loss mp3. Where/how do I find the Product ID? Please advise.

Hi,
If you are trying to add your purchased license key ( wpdm pro license ), you need to use it at Admin Menu Downloads Settings License

No, not the product key for the plugin (pro version), but the required generated license for the digital download after purchase. Please see attached file in the original post?

BTW, the license key will not be generated automatically, the user need to click on the key ( ) to generate the license for the purchased item.

The green License Key is what is missing from the order/invoice page the customer gets after completing their purchase. How do I fix this? Without the key icon, they can’t generate the license to complete the download. 🙁

You need to enable licensing to make the key visible:

Ok, “Enabling Licence” is now on the download receipt/order page, but clicking on it didn’t appear to do anything. After clicking it, I proceeded to click the Download button, and once again I got “download limit exceeded”. I clicked on the “Generate License” key one more time and then tried the Download button one more time, still the same error “download limit exceeded”. Any advice?

In that case, please remove the stock limit for that product.
