We are using the plugin and have some files which we have added a password to. When users try to download them it comes up with a message saying invalid-download-link after we have entered the password.

I have checked that there are many plugins installed on your site. I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. can you please enable/disable other plugins for checking, you may also switch the theme to another for checking. please check and let me know then.
