Hi,
When i try to download a password protected file i get this error: Invalid dir path
After removing the password protection, the file downloads without issue.
Hello, jan wit
I hope you are doing well and sorry for the inconvenience.
Could you please deactivate all plugins temporarily except WPDM and see if that solves the problem. Then, activate the plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing the problem.
If the problem still persists then share the wp-login credential in a private reply to check the issue.
Regards
Thanks, we just used a button with a link to the file.
You can see it on this page: https://www.sfeerrijk.nl/carneol-glass/
When you click the button (see image) the error appears.
the page with the image https://nimb.ws/OAJfSjT
No we did not, client just uploaded it into the media library, added the password and added the link to the file to the button.
Probably that is not the correct way to do this?
Regards
i removed the last part of the path, so now it is only /home/sfeerrijk/public_html/
the file is at https://sfeerrijk.nl/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Dutch-Order-Form-2024-jo-vegleges-2.xlsx
However i still get the issue.
what do you mean by package name?
we just uploaded the file in the medialibrary, there was no ‘download package’ created
Your problem has been resolved, kindly check
now nothing happens when i click the button on the page, it is not downloading and not asking for the password
sorry, was my popup blocker
i see it works on other browser
many thanks
