I have checked your issue. The downloads for files are working fine from my side and the other side too. I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. can you please enable/disable other plugins for checking, you may also switch the theme to another for checking. please let me know then.

Are you facing trouble that the DOCS are opening from the media library attached? Choosing from the Select From Media Library option. By default, it will do so. You can also choose the other option too. When you attach files from media library as URL WPDM simply redirect to that URL when a user clicks on the download button, but when you upload a file directly or attach a file from server as a server path, WPDM handles the download process and so there it can decide whether the file will open in browser or force download. So, if your file is already in the media library, and you want them to download instead of open in browser, please attach those files using the server file browser instead of the medial library file selector. please let me know

I found you have 2 different wpdm versions installed, at the backend, it is showing 3.2.37, but at the front-end, it is 3.1.28. Not exactly sure how you are doing that, but that’s what causing the trouble.
