How to show Files in Recommended Downloads?

Hello Simon Tayler,

Hope you are well. For the recommended downloads section, the recommended value should be a category slug if you want to recommend specific category items in the shortcode, if you want to show recent items, use recommend="recent", please skip the parameter recommended if you want to hide recommended items on the dashboard. I hope this will help you. please check and let me know

I did read this in the documentation and followed the instructions.

I tried to use the category slug but this does not show any documents.

There are documents in the category and everything looks correct?

[wpdm_user_dashboard recommended="policies" signup=1 flaturl=0 fav=1]

With category value at this moment post thumbnail is required to show items in the recommended section, however, we shall adjust it with the next update. please check and let us know
