How does one add files in to the “recommended downloads” area of the users Dashboard?
This looks like a great feature and we’d like to use it based on the users profile.
To start, how does one add these files there?

Hope you are well. For the recommended downloads section, the recommended value should be a category slug if you want to recommend specific category items in the shortcode, if you want to show recent items, use recommend="recent", please skip the parameter recommended if you want to hide recommended items on the dashboard. I did read this in the documentation and followed the instructions.
I tried to use the category slug but this does not show any documents.
There are documents in the category and everything looks correct?

With category value at this moment post thumbnail is required to show items in the recommended section, however, we shall adjust it with the next update. please check and let us know
