Gutenberg Blocks by WPDM API issue

We’re using the Add-on Gutenberg Blocks by WordPress Download Manager (v. 2.0.8) with WPDM (v. 3.2.02) and get some problems.
The Plugin can’t find the wpdmpro posts with it’s own endpoint ‘search-package’.
In the backend the block is shown, but it always shows ‘Select a package.’ In the block settings the list of wpdmpro-posts is empty.
I can call the endpoint direct in the URL and get all posts listed (396 at the moment), but the call in index.js is never triggered.
In developer tools I can see the call to ‘link-templates’, but not to ‘search-package’.
Is there a solution?

Regards
Oliver

Hi @moped,
Thank you for letting us know about the errors.

Make sure that WPDM and all add-ons you are using of WPDM are in the latest version. If you can’t update it directry from WordPress dashboard, Please update manually by uploading these plugins. It should solve the issue.
If, still the problem exists then let me know.

Best Regards

Hello Tanvir,
thank you for your quick response.
The version number we use match the latest for download. I wrote them above behind the plugin and the add-on.
There are no additional add-ons, just WPDM and Gutenberg Blocks by WPDM.
In the frontend the old download blocks (before update WPDM) are shown correctly, but if I edit the post, the block ‘package’ is unable to find the wpdmpro-posts.
The API call (https://domain.com/wp-json/wpdm/search-package) doesn’t even trigger, as I mentioned before.
It is not shown in the network tab of the developer tools.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Hello,

Could you please test by deactivating/reactivating other plugins? Sometimes other plugins can conflict.

If still the problem happens, please share temporary wp-admin access in a private reply to check and solve the issue quickly.

Thanks

Please check new version 3.2.03 released. It could solve the issue.

Hi Tanvir,
thanks for the new version of WPDM, but it doesn’t fix the issue.
It is in the add-on Gutenberg Blocks, where the API call does not happen.
In the index.js at “download-manager/package” the endpoint “/wpdm/search-package” is never called.
It worked before the update.
If it helps, I could provide access to wp-admin.

I’ve tested here and it worked fine for me:

Please allow network admin access to check all wpdm features for once on your site to test everything working well there.

That’s weird, there is no way I get it done.
Check the old one, which appears correct in frontend:

I gave network access to you.

In that case, don’t need FTP. Everything should be okay now :).
