Error with image in PDF Stamper

I am using the free version of download manager and the pdf stamper. Works fine with text, but when using an image, I receive this error :

Warning: fopen(): http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /home/xxx/public_html/test/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-pdf-stamper/libs/fpdf1.7/fpdf.php on line 1232
