I am using the shortcode [wpdm_all_packages] to show a list of all downloads. However, I am getting the following error message

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘items_per_page’ in E:\WebSpace\xampp\htdocs\Refix\wp-content\plugins\download-manager\tpls\wpdm-all-downloads.php on line 6

Kindly help resolving this error.

What is your PHP version? Seems like you are using a lower version on the server. Please update it. If the problem still occurs, please provide login & FTP info in private reply.

Just downloaded and installed and I have this same error. Did this ever get resolved?
I need a good file server that just works and that I know I can get support on, before buying the Pro version.

If a Website is primarily a file server, and it is down for 24/28 hours without support – that is a game killer.

Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply to check the issue. Or try the following shortcode,

I have the same error on my webpage… are there any updates yet? I have also PHP 7.2…
And all my download are visible for everyone
