Emails no longer being sent with Download Notifications

Hello,

After the latest update of WPDM and all add-ons the download notifications are no longer sending emails when files are downloaded.

Please help,

Hi @partnerrelations,
Hope you are well. And sorry for the inconvenience. We have released the latest version of the WPDM plugin and add-ons. According to the latest update of WPDM, you also need to update the other add-ons as well. please update them, or you can download them from here.
I hope it will work fine then. if it doesn’t work, please, give your temporary wp-admin login details in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also, please share the related page/file/package URL with us.

Sorry for the inconvinience.
In our inspection, we found that you are using an older version of the Download Notifications add-on. Please update it to the latest version which is right now 1.8.1 or you can download them from here.

Hi @partnerrelations,
We have released a newer version of the WPDM plugin which is right now 3.2.09. Please update your copy and try again.
However, in our testing environment Download Notifications are working fine. Can you please make sure that emails are sending from your server without the WPDM plugin or not?
Also, you can enable/disable other plugins and the theme also for checking if there is any conflict.

I verified that php mail is working on our site. I tried disabling all plugins and email will send from WordPress… ie. Forgot Password however it does not send from WPDM forgot password.

Hi,
WPDM emails are working fine now on your site, finally, I found the issue was due to email template settings. I’ve selected the email template and saved settings again and it started working fine.

It is probably due to a password reset restriction in your site, showing error Password reset is not allowed for this user

I did have a look into the WordPress forgot password functionality (https://www.dpsi.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword) and it sends an email and the link works fine.

Hope you are well.
Admin can’t reset the password from the front-end, as it’s disabled for security reasons.
However, please open a separate forum topic in the future by describing your issue properly there.
