After making a simple change to one of the email templates by removing the password field and inserting ****** ALL of my email templates are now showing the HTML tags instead of implementing them. For Example:
<b>Hello</b> should show the word Hello as bold, however, the email shows it as <b>Hello</b> (with the HTML tags shown).
I have tested this on more than one site, is there a fix for this issue?
Thanks,

Hi,
Found an issue in the email template customization feature. The patch is coming with the next version of WordPress Download Manager.
Thanks.
We have already released the new version. Please update your copy.
This is happening again.
I tried to change the ‘From Address’ for the template and now the template is showing HTML code like it did before.
Any suggestions?

Copy the code from this template and paste it into the new site
But the rules shown in the screenshot have to be followed
thanks
It was fixed for a short while.
As soon as I removed the password field (as we do not want to send plain text passwords over email) it reverts back to the problem with showing HTML tags.
Why would this be happening each time I try to edit these templates.
Steve
