Download Manager 2.7.1 breaks Intuition Theme

I upgraded to Download Manager 2.7.1 along with WordPress 4.0.1 and find that the Download Manager upgrade has caused the featured slider on the home page for the Intuition theme (Skat Design) to disappear. Fortunately I am not actively using Download Manager on the site at the moment, so can deactivate which solves the problem for now. Just wanted to let you know so hopefully this can be addressed before I need to use it. Earlier versions of the plugin caused no issue.
