I recently installed reCaptcha V3 as a way to prevent the inundation of spam mail. (I am a novice when it comes to webpages, and am now just figuring this out). It has been working great for the spam. But now it appears (I am guessing) to be blocking all links for my clients to download their plans. Before I implemented reCaptcha, I had each download link password protected, and it worked perfectly. Now if my client or myself tries to click on a link, nothing happens. I don’t know if the password pop-up is being blocked somehow, or if the link is “dead” due to the reCaptcha, or if something else is going on. ReCaptcha is the only thing that I can think of that was a major enough change to cause this.
I have gone through the blog on DownloadManager on how to implement reCaptcha, but that doesn’t appear to be solving any issue. I have tried implementing reCaptcha within the file settings, I have tried unchecking that box, and nothing seems to fix it. I hate to lose reCaptcha so that my clients can access their plans, as I really don’t want the uptick in spam again. But I have to imagine there is a setting somewhere that I have to change and everything will go back to the way it was.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
