Download Limit exceeded

i had a very old wordpress where i was using the plugin.

I updated wordpress to Version 6.7.2 ,and then updated the plugin to Version 4.4.0

when i did so, the shortcodes that i was using in my pages that were showing the pdf and a button “download”, now is not showing the button,
it is instead showing “Download Limit exceeded”,
i believe i haven’t changed anything regarding the limit or count, so is this a bug??

please help

I can’t able to access WPDM Setting or other menus. Can you please extend full access thus I can check other options too. Please kindly check.
