I want to build a download center which will distribute pdf and doc files. The site/ plugin will have the following requirements:
(i) The index page will list all the files available for download in the following order:
Name of the file:
Brief Description of the contents:
Date of upload:
Category
Nos of DLs
Thumbnail is not required;
(ii) The files will be sortable date-wise, category-wise etc;
(iii) Clicking on a link will take the visitor to another page which will have full details of the file. There will be a ‘download’ button;
(iv) Clicking the download button will take the visitor to another page where the message will appear “Your download will be available in a moment. If it does not, click here”. The file will be available for download after about 10 seconds;
Can the plugin be modified to achieve this?
