Custom Template for Package

My client is using the latest version of Download Manager Pro.
When updated recently their custom template stopped working and placed everything into an HTML table.
Tried switching to prebuilt templates everything shows as an HTML table.

<tr><th>File</th><th>Action</th></tr>
what is wanted is a HTML list of single files for this pacakge

Tried redoing custom template but none of the existing tags produce a list.
Custom tags do not support PHP so there is no way to create a loop.

Is there a hook where I can modify the output of the download-manager\src\Package\FileList.php

I sent a “private reply” to this that included screenshots and login info.

I did so logged in as my self and again as my client on WP Download Manager Pro. Why are these replies not showing?

Before your updating we would go to Downloads -> Templates create custom templates
Before Update

After the update these custom templates no longer work

The client does not want the ugly HTML tables but a simple list.
Wants to be able to use the single download label instead of “Download”

Hopefully this is “formatted” and I get an actual reply

Because this is a live site and they don’t work no packages are using the custom templates.

I restored the custom templates so they show in the dropdown but no packages are using them.

If you want you can assign a package any custom template such as custom I just asked you reset it to “Default”

What are you talking about? It doens’t matter which package or which custom template they are all broken since the update.

It is using custom templates that were working before the update settings

Not sure what was done. I just had to manually update 20 packages. They are all viewable now.
However, there is no change the custom page template nor the custom link templates are working.

This has been going on for over a week, getting a little discouraged here

You said you tested the custom page link what did you find? Is there a fix?

I know it is not working properly, that is why I contacted support 10 days ago.

I had already checked for conflicts before wasting my time here. I just readded Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and ran another check all plugins except WP Download Mamager Pro deactivated. The current theme is Twenty Twentyone but checked on Twenty Twenty Three. Downloaded a fresh copy of Twenty Twenty One.

No change it still does not work properly.

Do you even understand what it is I am having issues with?

While I do appreciate you pointing out a separate issue I was unaware of in the WPDM Stamper. Your solution is not doable. The client pays $90 for a WPDM extension that breaks their downloads. Your solution is to not use the extension they just paid you for?

Again I am looking to customize the HTML on the package using the custom template functionality.
I do not want the default table layout

but a list

Does not link to anything. And yes modifying the core file and fixing the shortcode [file_list] My problem is why was this not addressed with the update?
So it did not break everything in earlier versions, kind of like “backwards compatibility” like most WordPress plugins.

Also we need to do something about the PDF Stamper. My client paid for extension that crashes the site?
