Hi, I recognized that the “Download Manager” plugin makes the “WP Staging” plugin unusable.
when I disable the Download Manager plugin I can create a new Staging copy with WP Staging, as soon as I enable the Download Manager plugin again, I get 403 errors when I access the WP Staging area.

Did someone experience the same or does someone already have a solution how to make these two plugins compatible?

Thanks,
S.

Hi, The “Download Manager” plugin is standalone plugin and organized coding with very few conflict. If “WP Staging” plugin have some code conflict then it might be come from WP Staging plugin.
However, Which version you are using let us know. I have just created a local clone with WP Staging no problem found.
Thank you

Hi Kazi

Thanks for your reply. I just started recently and installed the “Download Manager” plugin. Currently it’s version Version 3.1.05 and I still have the issue.

I was also in contact with the WP Staging support, seems to be a strange problem. As soon as I deactivate the “Download Manager” plugin “WP Staging” works fine. When the “Download Manager” plugin is activated “WP Staging” runs into some permission errors.

Could it be a permission setting in the plugin I accidentally set wrong (I’m not aware of any default changed I did) or could have this impact?

Regards,
Stefan
