I’ll buy the Pro version if needed, but need a couple questions answered first.

I submitted my questions to chat a couple times, but there is never a response.

I created categories for the files uploaded to DM and assigned the files to the categories. However, the slug for the files do not include the categories. Can DM be configured to include the file categories in the slugs?

Can DM be configured so that when someone clicks on a link on the front-end of the site, the file either opens in the browser (such as a pdf) or is downloaded, instead of being brought to a download screen on the website?

Thanks in advance,
Greg

Hello Greg,

Hope you are well. Instead of being brought to a download screen or download page on the website, opening the PDF in the browser or downloading the file is possible. And can you please let me know elaborately configuring to include the file categories in the slug requirements? Please kindly let me know.

Thank you.

Hi Nayeem, Thanks for replying. I uploaded a file, well-maintenance.pdf, to DM and added it to a category, Helpful Info. I need the download url to include the category, so that it looks like this: /download/helpful-info/well-maintenance. Currently the category is not included in the url: https://prnt.sc/FsfkQVGnqqxp Can the files be configured to include their categories?
