You can protect your media library files by setting a password and assigning different access levels. Once a file is protected, it will only be accessible to users with the appropriate permissions.

Yes, you can do that. After clicking on the file, you’ll find the ‘Allow access‘ option on the right side.

One important thing, please note that if a file is uploaded through the WordPress Media Library, it will not be protected, as the Media Library is publicly accessible. To ensure your files are secure and protected from direct or unauthorized access, make sure to use the WPDM Upload option.
