Hi,
Every file that my client has added to download manager is public. They have set up private categories for Administrators but it has no effect. All I have to do is visit the direct url for the file.
My client has been running this plugin for years and I can assume that all of their files have been public the whole time without their knowledge.
Is there some other step to follow in order to make downloads accessible by only certain users?
The server is running on apache and I have disabled all plugins to confirm that it’s not a plugin conflict.

Allowed/selected roles from associated categories will be merged with package access. If anywhere “All Visitors” ( in Allow access option with the package or any of the associated categories ) is selected, the package will be public regardless of other selections.
