Hi,
I’m using ACF Pro. I would like to add extra fields to files: e.g. author, publication date. I have created these fields, but they don’t appear backend, so I can’t add extra information to the files.
I tried to add the php code to the template file but nothing happened.

We are not sure about third-party plugin integration/ compatibility as we don’t have any control over them as they are not our products.
However, you can check our WPDM Advanced Custom Fields add-on instead.
