I have been trying with my hosting company for two weeks to troubleshoot the issue of all files uploaded for use in the Download Manager are now redirecting to my 404 Page Not Found error page.
Permissions are correct on the /download folder. Firewall and security settings are not causing the problem and yet, even if I upload a new file through the plug-in and then insert the download link on a page I get the error re-direct.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Could you share me the Admin login details in a private reply to check the details?
I have gone through your Admin area and also test several pages from the menu. Haven’t noticed any error. And noticed that you are also using Download Monitor by Never5! Could you please tell exactly where are you facing this 404 error?
Hi Mark, Please see the attached image. The download link you are talking about is related to Download Monitor by some other company, not by Download Manager by W3Eden
