Hey Shaon, It works nevermind. There are some limitations to the import with description i think, but it accepts clean data.

So i think i have discovered a ‘bug’ which is very minor – the import preview doesn’t display the tag or the featured image but they do import safely.

Hi Shaon,

Ok that works almost! – now the featured image isn’t importing i have checked the database and is uses the POST_ID for the image in thumbnail_ID – thats fine but what do i need to put in my CSV? I have tried url and full path

All other data is working, its just the featured image now which is the final piece! Please help soon i have a 1 day deadline.

I have attached my csv and made it really easy for you to see the fields, please test this on import. The featured image url doesnt even show up before i initiate the import.

Hi Shaon,

I’ve added that after Preview – It doesn’t work no images are uploaded. No featured image either.
Please can you check my attached sample.csv

I need to know how to import preview images and set a featured image via CSV
