I have tried to implement the shortcode above you said I should try but the template still isn’t pulling through. The styling on the staging website is the same as on the live website, the problem is it’s not using the correct template on staging even with the shortcode you suggest i should try

yes i want open attached PDF file when clicking on title for [wpdm_all_packages]

so when i click the title it must open this pdf https://www.actuarialsociety.org.za/ts/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/second-section.png

As for now when i click package title it first go to this https://www.actuarialsociety.org.za/ts/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/first-section.png then you click the button then goes to pdf. It must not do the button click

Yes, like when you click the title it must open a pdf document, it must by pass the action where it gives us a button that says click here to download your file.

thanks for the adjustment, if possible we would like the package title to open the pdf in new tab, so we want it to skip the action for click here to download your file. so it must go from title document straight to open document in new tab. Exactly the way its function here https://www.actuarialsociety.org.za/assa-news/2016/

thanks for getting back to us. regarding the [wpdm_category] i have implemented what you have suggested above and still its not working. My website demo site is https://www.actuarialsociety.org.za/dm Username: bonline password: ZkYe3Xm%%7ytm0dqxJNwOhqW this is the page that im using https://www.actuarialsociety.org.za/dm/?page_id=18245. Can you please check why the package is not puling. have revert back to 2024 wordpress theme still it was not working and i also disable all other plugin except for download manager but still its not pulling anything

Thanks for you reply, i have tested the code above still no lucky even if i use asc still nothing happens. i also noticed that this shortcode is not pulling anything [wpdm_category id="actuarial_practice_notes" template="59a514cce1f0f" order="desc"] its saying no downloads found. i double checked and i can confirm that there are downloads package in that category. i have created a demo site here.
