I am using version 3.2.59 which is the latest release. It will not allow me to assign the File Browser Root at a higher level. My reason for a higher level folder is to eliminate any possibility of a file being uploaded or changed by anyone other than those with ADMIN access to my website (which is only me). Download Manager used to be able to support this, but it does not appear to do so now.

I have the same problem and had to roll back to 3.1.07 to bring the download count back.
