Sorry, what do you mean can also happen? Do you mean the plugin updating itself, or being deleted?

We have checked the site and all settings. All plugins are set to auto update. There is not the option for the S3 plugin to be set to auto-update (like the other plugins). This does not happen with any other plugins or websites that we run. There is nothing from our side that will remove a plugin from a site.

There does not seem to be ability to set auto updates for the s3-add (all other WordPress plugin we have do have this enabled). However, when checking Downloads > settings > Updates we can see that everything is up to date. There is no option to set it to auto-update. The main Download manager plugin is set to auto update

Hello. I have uploaded the s3 add on Version 3.3.1.

I can confirm that the previously reported PHP error has been resolved.

However, the issue with spaces within bucket or filenames still remains.

We are unable to attach files with spaces within bucket or filenames. Please can you get this final issue fixed for us 🙂

I can confirm that if I create a new bucket, folder structure within the bucket and file, all without spaces in the filename that they attach correctly to a package (Thanks Midhead – really appreciated).

If I attempt to attach a file with either spaces in the filename or folder structure, or bucket name, the files do not attach to buckets.

We didn’t previously have any issues with the plugin or conflicts prior to upgrading your plugin. The site is now live, so disabling plugins and switching themes is not going to happen. We may need to replicate to dev and then re-test. However prior to doing that, please can you provide us with an older version of the plugin (prior to 3.3.0) as this was working without issue

Sorry, I spoke too soon. Whilst I can now browse s3 folders and attach files. As soon as I click save, the s3 file that I attached in the package disappears. If you need access again do let me know but this is pretty urgent to get fixed now. Please help!

We have the same issue. despite marking .ai (adobe illustrator files) as allowed, we are getting the error “Upload blocked. The file type is invalid—the file extension does not match the actual content type.”
