I’m having the same issue and don’t see a resolution.

That’s the issue. The shortcode is suppose to allow multiple categories provided they are seperated by a comma – that’s what is no longer working since I compelted the last update. So, if this update doens’t allow that. I would like the link to download the version 2.8.6.

I used add-ons WordPress Download Manager v3.0 5.3.3, WPDM Extended Short-codes 2.8.7, and Download Manager Free 5.3.3. That shortcode does thankfully give me all documents, however, is there a way still to select which categories I’d like to shown?

How do I go back to Version 2.8.6? where’s the download?

I got it. I had to clear-out the Settings URL structure… it came back as it’s default which was the same as I deleted. For for some dumb reason it worked. BUG to FIX guys.
