i remember last year when we upgraded to PRO the packages that were uploaded through the FREE didnt get transfered.
You had to go in and make them show up on the PRO version.
Is that maybe the reason why the packages are not showing up on now because it switched back to the FREE version??????
Maybe we we switch back to PRO they might work!!!!!

help me with this…i really dont want to reupload before PRO is installed

thanks

Shaon i called Media Temple and they wont restore back enough to get to the files.
So my question to you is… can you help me upgrade to PRO as we had before keep everything working as is specially the customization?
The client is so frustrated that he will have to redo the uploads again one by one so we can launch site.
We are just scared any other bad surprises will happen.
i am backing up files now.

Please let me know.
i want to plugin updated and everything working before we reupload all files.

thanks

I will call them tomorrow. I don’t know when I updated it. But like I said when I did I just check marked the plugin box in the wp admin plug in page and clicked Update!!! Nothing else. Just like I update all the other plugins.

If I can’t do restore, can we just go back to PRO version like we did before?

Is there a way of knowing when i did that plugin update? It must have switched back to the FREE version. But I can tell you when i did the update, all i did was on the wp admin, check mark the box next to the plugin and click update! I didnt do anything manually.

I have not touched the plugin/updated since i did the update. Is there a way to see what that update was done? Not sure if Media temple can restore a backup from that far back. I will check.

So is it showing FREE or PRO now? This is so confusing

This is all so bizarre. I have no idea why it would show the FREE version!

We had upgraded (paid) to PRO version just before we paid to have the custom work done!
You guys went in the admin and got it done on the PRO version.

Could it have switched back to FREE when I updated the plugins on wp? That’s all I can think of.

What’s even more bizarre is that only files tagged a certain category have “disappeared” from the file manager admin. (They are still in FTP folder).

Client is freaking out as it took them many hours uploading them manually!

So if the files are still in the correct FTP folder, can we link them again to the file manager admin?

How could we have a FREE version showing if custom work was done on the PRO version installation?

Could we upgrade to PRO now?
Would that bring files back?

These were hours and hours lost of upload so I need to figure this out!!!

And I guess we need to get the PRO version active but am worried will loose files, etc

Please advise what to do!!!!
Client is about to fire me from project :-(((

I really appreciate any help to figure thus out…

Thank you so much

Cheers
Ale

We are talking about hundreds of files so I can guarantee they weren’t deleted! Many hours of work!

Hi there
I am confused too. Files are still in the FTP! Client couldn’t have deleted them from FTP! He doesn’t know what an FTP is!
Client uploaded them manually via the file manager admin and assigned each individual file to the category!

Ok so i think i see whats happening.
Dozens of files that were uploaded to the file manager and were tagged the problem category have vanished from the file manager. But they are STILL IN THE FTP! If you search a file is shows up as uploaded on the ftp folder where all the file manager files live. But if you search on the actual file manager it doesnt show up. Its like they got disconnected from the admin.
The file high lighted on the screenshot i am using as an example!
Its in the correct FTP folder, it was uploaded in november and tagged the problem category.
But if you do a search on the file manager admin, it doesnt show up!

This is happening to all files that were tagged
cat=”quality-improvement-portal

There are dozens of files missing..hours of upload. Is this something we can recover?
Can you make them active again and show up on the file manager?

Let me know how we can get this fixed!!! Client is freaking out.
Also let me know what files I can’t change if I need to update the plugin in the future
